Name: Sergei Borzkoff
Eyes: Hazel Brown
Height: 6'2"
Weight: 240 Lbs.
Birth Country: Russia
Birth City: Moscow
Occupation:  Casino Manager
Group Affiliation: ANGEL Corps
Base of Operations: The Synidome
Character:  Though Sergei is a
wealthy, confident, trendy party
boy, he also has a keen intellect.
He has a dry sense of humor, is
brutally frank, can be
confrontational and is sometimes
impatient.
Origins:  Sergei and his sister
Katarina grew up in a wealthy
Russian crime family but were
insulated from the business for
most of their early life. As he hit
his teens, Sergei started partying
a lot at nightclubs around the
globe. He first started hearing
about the criminal dealings that
his family was involved in from his
wealthy Russian friends, so he
sought to learn the truth. Sergei’s
father was honest with him up to a
point and alleged that the family
fortunes were due to a string of
underground casinos in Russia
and a few discreet holdings in Las
Vegas and Atlantic City.  This
fascinated Sergei and he was
placed in the charge of his uncle
to learn the casino business in
Las Vegas.  In this role Sergei
picked up everything extremely
quickly, rooting out con men and
internal cheats by creating a
reputation that such problems
were dealt with harshly. He had
money, women, cars, jewelry,
liquor and gambling and wanted
for very little until the world-wide
event that would come later to be
known as
"The Neogen Flux."
Sergei's powers manifested
uncontrollably one night, nearly
killing the escort he was with
when their bed crashed through
to a lower floor.  Though Sergei
was unharmed, she suffered
serious injuries but no
construction flaws were
uncovered. The next night when
he was standing next to his uncle,
Sergei's mass induction abilities
brought down a portion of the
second floor crashing into the
first floor in a disaster that injured
thirty-one patrons though,
fortunately, no one was killed. The
destruction, however, included
the office preparing the casino's
deposits and the result was
millions of dollars blowing about
freely on the streets of Las Vegas.
The expenses to rebuild the
casino, settle lawsuits and write
off lost profits looked to cost the
family millions of dollars. Sergei
was removed from his casino
manager position, sent back to
Russia and isolated like an
outcast.  His father brought in the
finest doctors to examine Sergei
but even one of the specialists
became a victim of one of his
uncontrollable power surges. The
doctor's mass underwent runaway
reduction until he dissipated into
nothingness. Worried about the
magnitude of damage that Sergei
might cause the family and its
fortunes, Sergei was flown to join
the UN initiative to explore those
affected by
"The Neogen Flux,"
the name given to the global
phenomenon that triggered
recent maximum evolutionary
genetic advancements in random
members of Earth's human race.
Sergei spent the travel time trying
to exert improved control over his
uncanny new abilities with some
measure of success. On one of
Magnum's first training sessions
with ANGEL Corps, he arrived
smoking a cigar and carrying a
magnum of expensive champagne
to kick off the session! The ANGEL
Corps' venerated combat systems
trainer, Exigon, was not amused
and needled Sergei by assigning
him the code name
Magnum from
that day forward.
Powers:  Sergei can manipulate
with precision the mass of any
given field of matter and rapidly
increase or decrease it, including
his own physical form. This gives
him the power to increase the
mass of matter so dramatically that
it not only becomes super-heavy
in a gravitational environment, but
he can also cause the matter to
generate its own gravity field.
Conversely, his ability to reduce
the mass of matter can render it
super-lightweight in a
gravitational field, but can also
cause it to become intangible.
Sergei is able to do this with his
own form as well. By precision
manipulation of air mass and his
own mass, Sergei is able to fly.
Strength Level Unassisted:
Class 1-A Baseline Human Range.
Level 4.
Can press 400 Lbs.
Strength Level Power-Assisted:
Class 3. Hyperhuman Range.
Level 8.
Can press 25 Tons.
Arsenal:  Sergei's wealth as
afforded him the freedom to
indulge his interest in guns and
other weapons. He has an
extensive weapons collection and
is an expert marksman with many
of them.
Fighting Prowess: Sergei had the
advantage of being able to work
out in a home gymnasium with
trainers for his entire life. His
father had him trained in Combat
and Freestyle Sambo, a Russian
form of martial arts. He rose to
that form's highest level becoming
a Distinguished Master of Sports
and winning many tourneys, but
he eventually tired of the clean
living discipline the art required.
While he still works out routinely,
Sergei feels entirely comfortable
drinking alcoholic beverages and
smoking cigarettes from time to
time. What toll that will take on his
progress through ANGEL Corps
training is unkown at this time but
he seems to be doing okay for
now.
Gear:
Standard Nanotech Armored
Protection Gear (SNAP-Gear),
lightweight uniforming system
equipped with onboard computer
array, variable feed power
sources, life-support, networking
and armored protection. A voice-
activated onboard computer ties
into tactical local and wide-area
networks using a “heads-up”
holographic transparent 17-inch
display panel while it monitors its
wearer’s physiology. A shield
mode provides operatives head-
to-toe protection.
Adairian Adaptive memory
molecules enable SNAP-GEAR
uniforms to adapt to a host’s
application of wide arrays of
energies. SNAP-Gear is able to
transform into a small inventory of
various non-combat outfits pre-
loaded by its user.
ANGEL Com (Communications
Device), a neural transceiver
implant that responds to basic
cybernetic commands. The device
utilizes ultra- sophisticated
cerebellinguistic algorithm codes
to translate human languages.
Once set, the device automatically
translates and feeds languages or
dialects in one’s native tongue
directly into the ear with an
average translatability percentage
ratio of 94.6% for all known
language patterns.
